About me

I’m Lauren Bond,

I am a Nervous System Regulation Specialist and MindBody Practitioner with a decade of clinical experience supporting individuals, groups, and organisations navigating chronic stress, pain, trauma, and emotional dysregulation.
My work is grounded in an integrated body of training spanning psychology, psychoneuroimmunology, and a holistic MindBody coaching diploma, alongside clinical-grade listening therapies to improve heart rate variability. This combination allows me to work with the full complexity of the MindBody system — not just its individual parts.
At the heart of my practice is a belief that the body and mind are not separate systems to be treated in isolation, but a single, intelligent, interconnected whole. Rather than focusing on symptom management, I work to help you understand the biological logic behind your experience — why you think, feel, and respond the way you do — creating the conditions for lasting, autonomous change.
I work with private clients, corporate organisations, and groups across the UK, bringing the same foundational principle to every context: that when people truly understand their own nervous system, they become their own most powerful source of healing.

I help people to understand the why behind their thoughts and behaviour and how to overcome difficulties arising from anxiety, depression and the effects of chronic stress.

Working with me will be a good fit if you're feeling stuck, stressed, overwhelmed, foggy-brained, habitually overthinking, impulsive, out of control of your body, reactive, socially isolated, hopeless or numb.

All of my sessions are available virtually or face to face dependent on best fit.

Environmental & relational trauma

My experience growing up in South Africa taught me a lot about how environmental and relational trauma affects the body. I experienced trauma personally through my relational experiences and professionally through my work in prisons and with people experiencing gang-related violence.

A lot of approaches I tried, both personally and professionally, didn’t seem like a good fit until I studied Psychoneuroimmunology. When I became aware of how my life experiences affected my neurochemistry and shaped how I think and behave, it all made sense, and it was an incredibly liberating moment.

I am extensively trained in Psychology, Neurology, Psychoneuroimmunology and Sound Therapy. I use sound as a therapeutic tool to slow the heart rate down and help people navigate out of anxious, stressed and depressive states.

Group/CPD sessions

I provide Trauma Informed CPD for therapists.

I deliver group sessions and provide workplace training in various settings (see options in Services).

My MindBody MOT is a model I created from a blend of my extensive training to help those I work with understand thoughts and behaviour in a more accurate way. When you understand the why then the how to improve mental and physical well-being and optimise performance will be more effective and sustainable. I provide training in this approach at conferences and events across the country.

With extensive experience in trauma-informed support, stress management and performance coaching, I plan for the most inclusive outcomes for immediate and long-term goals in every setting.
