Workplace MindBody MOT

Improving Performance by Reducing Conflict, Anxiety, and Stress

Every organisation relies on the wellbeing and effectiveness of its people. Yet even the most capable teams can struggle under sustained stress, conflict, or pressure. Over time, communication breaks down, focus declines, and performance suffers.

The MindBody MOT is a modular, evidence-informed programme designed to enhance performance by strengthening resilience, emotional regulation, and relational effectiveness — helping individuals and teams work with greater calm, clarity, and confidence.

Programme Outcomes

  • Reduce conflict and workplace tension by improving understanding of behaviour, triggers, and body language.

  • Develop resilience and tolerance to pressure, broadening individual and team Windows of Tolerance.

  • Master relational dynamics to communicate calmly and effectively, even in challenging situations.

  • Strengthen the mind–body connection, learning to recognise early signs of stress and activate the body’s natural relaxation responses.

  • Enhance wellbeing and performance, resulting in more focused, motivated, and emotionally intelligent teams.

Programme Structure

1. Core Training & Coaching Modules

Delivered through group workshops and one-to-one coaching, these sessions provide practical tools to manage stress, interpret behaviour, and improve communication. Participants gain a deeper understanding of their own nervous system and learn evidence-based techniques to regulate under pressure.

2. Personal MindBody MOT

A focused therapeutic process for individuals experiencing burnout, chronic stress, anxiety, or low mood. It helps employees understand why they think, feel, and behave as they do — and teaches the mechanics of how to reset and feel better.

Together, these elements create a comprehensive system for strengthening individual resilience and collective performance.

Why It Works

The MindBody MOT combines neuroscience, psychology, and embodied therapeutic techniques to create lasting change in how people think, feel, and communicate.

By addressing both mind and body, it helps individuals and teams move from stress and reactivity to clarity, connection, and high performance.

  • Organisations seeking to reduce stress, burnout, and turnover

  • Leaders who want to model calm, emotionally intelligent communication

  • Workplaces ready to invest in proactive wellbeing and sustainable performance

Trauma Informed Practice

There has been a significant rise in anxiety, depression and suicide rates over the last few years. Anxiety, depression and chronic stress are increasingly referred to as an epidemic amongst adults, adolescents and children. We have been living in a threatening environment for an extended period of time and many are experiencing symptoms of PTSD. This training will equip you to support vulnerable children, adolescents and adults and understand the biobehavioural aspects linked to anxiety and depression. It’s a trauma-informed approach to educate professionals on how to integrate various modalities, provide containment within a therapeutic or coaching relationship and help alleviate the overwhelm associated with anxiety and stress related thoughts and behaviours.

The basic training is 3 hours long and the advanced training is 6 hours long.

This training is suitable for mental health practitioners.

Highly Sensitive People

Highly Sensitive People are often misdiagnosed or misunderstood. Their sensitivities don't necessarily 'fit inside a box' which can result in a lot of frustration for all involved and often leads to behavioural issues.

If you have a someone in mind that:
• Struggles with last minute changes
• Is a perfectionist
• Complains if they are wet or 'clothing is scratchy'
• Learns better from gentle correction rather than strong punishment
• Asks a lot of questions
• Is hard to get to sleep after an exciting day
• Feels things deeply
• Has a strong sense of justice and 'right and wrong'

We discuss all aspects of Highly Sensitive People and the most effective ways of managing emotional meltdowns.
When we know better, we can enable them to cope/do better.

This training is suitable for home and work settings.

Understanding ASD/ASC (Autism Spectrum Disorder/Condition)

Many people are being diagnosed with ASD/ASC or exhibiting similar behaviours.  Their mannerisms can often be misunderstood which results in increasingly reactive behaviour.

The way that they think is formulaic and ‘black and white’.  They have a strong sense of injustice if things don’t make sense to them which is often a trigger at home or in the workplace.

The key for all involved is to adopt a formulaic approach that is clear to all involved. A formulaic approach is essential to help people with ASC thrive and will also benefit others in the home or workplace.

Testimonials

Superb! This information needs to be at every training course and available to all. It was wonderfully practical, engaging and based on research. Lauren is a National treasure that needs to be shared!
Really interesting. [Lauren]’s passion for the subject was obvious and inspiring.
[Lauren], you are such an engaging and relatable speaker. Thank you for covering so much in such a short space of time and offering opportunities for self-reflection. It allowed me to think about how and why I do things.
I’ve learned more in one evening than I have magpie’ing my way through a multitude of self help books.
